Director / Manager, Speech-Enabled IVR / Call Center Consulting
Location: Silicon Valley, California (Position AXG-795)

Responsible for managing multiple consulting engagements for new
enterprise-level IVR Call Center systems and/or the migration of IVR
operations from DTMF to state-of-the-art speech-enabled systems. Will
also be an integral part of the post-sales support and implementation
of value-added software tools for the rapid deployment of innovative
speech recognition-based call center products.

Will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects across the US
with senior consultants and project managers as direct reports to this
position. Each team will manage, coordinate and report on large
call-center speech application deployment projects. Assemble and guide
project teams, identify resources needed, and develop project plans
and schedules to ensure timely completion of projects. Communicate
frequently with project leaders and client staff regarding project
status and identify and resolve project problems and issues. Provide
guidance to project managers in customer relationships in conjunction
with the account executives and professional services management.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee the preparation of multiple proposals, statements of work
and the development of project plans, schedules, resources, and
milestones, in conjunction Professional Services managers and client
project management. Will monitor, track, and be held accountable for
multiple projects, deliverables, quality assurance, and customer
services.
• Initiates action to identify and resolve project problems/issues and
reports to Professional Services managers on mitigating steps and
actions taken to ensure timely deliverables, project success and
quality.
• Assign tasks to team leaders; develop team best practices and
operating rules; mentor, guide, and empower team leaders in planning
and executing the work and providing customer service in accordance
with Professional Services organization practices and standards.
• Report regularly to management on project progress; manage risk,
scope, quality, effort, resources and timeline.
• Participate in pre- and post-sales activities, proposal development
to existing and new customers.
• Work closely with company executive management in developing
consulting and project planning methodology and tools.

Education & Experience:
• 8+ years experience in managing multiple project teams and systems
integration consulting or enterprise software implementation services.
• 8+ years experience in first or second-level management in
customer-facing, project management role leading multiple teams.
• 4+ years experience with call centers and/or speech application
deployment.
• BS degree in information technology, computer science, engineering,
or other related field. MBA a plus.
• Strong communication skills (presentation, verbal, and written).
• Experience in supporting sales and business development
opportunities through proposal creation, review and presentation.
• Experience working directly with customers in a consulting or
services role.

Travel:
• Ability to travel as needed.
