Salary: 70K-80K

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Quality Assurance, this role is
responsible for the comprehensive QA initiatives for the primary
enterprise eLearning product, as well as managing a team of 10-15
dedicated specialists and testers.

Management responsibilities include:

Maintaining schedule and work assignments via collaboration and in
conjunction with the implementation team project managers and
architects
Managing and participating in the triage and prioritization of
software change requests itemizing individual defects and/or revisions
Composing and participating in SQA test strategies and plans.
Training and mentoring the team on SQA methodologies and best
practices
Participating in team resource and skills procurement activities, all
within the context of motivating and driving the team to continuous
improvement of product quality, performance and reliability

Successful Candidate must possess:

Experience in medium-large scale, technical, QA team management, with
sufficient hands-on experience and ability to apply as needed.
Primary experience in QA of enterprise class, widely deployed, highly
scalable, internet-based technologies, systems, and applications.
Technologies and platform experience required in some set of
commercial J2EE application server environments like BEA WebLogic/IBM
Websphere, RDBMS environments like Oracle/MS SQL Server.
Solid understanding of enterprise software QA team management,
methodologies, and implementation processes.
Strong technical background and seasoned experience with both manual
and automated testing methodologies, tools, and implementation as well
as industry/discipline standards.
Minimum, 5-8 years experience in QA team and project management.
Minimum of Bachelor's degree in computer science, or computer related
engineering discipline, or equivalent levels experience.

Highly Desirable:

Experience with Segue Silk Test, Silk Performer and/or other automated
testing toolsets.

Experience with internationalization and localization within the
context of QA for a global product offering.

Experience with/in Software Performance Engineering (SPE)
methodologies and implementation for enterprise class software stack
and application environments.

Experience with EAI related frameworks and applications within the
context of ERP systems like Peoplesoft and similar commercial class
product lines.

Experience, and or knowledge with eLearning applications within the
higher education or corporate training contexts.
