the success of the implementation of Basel II. Current implementation
has a large number of processes for capturing credit risk. Basel II is
intended to help reduce this number of processes to create a common
methodology across the financial institution (and all financial
institutions so that they can compare credit risk - which is a key
measure in all financial institutions.)
1 - Project Manager (PM) - Rate range: $75/hr-$95/hr (depending on
experience), start ASAP, 1 year contract.
The Project Manager, will be responsible for managing certain
stream(s)/sub-project(s) of implementing BASEL II and the required
technology and business changes.
Must have RISK experience, Risk Adjusted Return on Capital (RAROC)
Basel experience would be considered a huge asset
Retail Banking risk experience would be nice to have
10+ years in project management with direct responsibility for the
delivery and management of large implementation projects (IT and/or
Process Driven Projects)
Experience with leading a large development team
Must have financial services experience, banking would be preferable

2 - Project Control (PCO) - Rate range: $55/hr-$75/hr (depending on

Requirements which need to be tested. This Program will be hugely
complex and challenging and will include: systems, integration and user
testing.

Program Management skills with demonstrated ability to lead
cross-functional teams.
Must have proven experience developing and implementing testing
methodology for a large complex testing project
Proven experience developing enterprise wide roll-out plan for testing

implementation from initial planning stage through implementation to
