Our client is looking for a Data Services Developer for their
application development project. The Data Services Developer will be
reporting to the general partner and will be based in their downtown
Toronto office.

Initially this will be a 2 or 3 month contract (rate range $30/h-$40/h)
with the option to convert to a full time role.


The ideal candidate would have the following background:

- 7+ years of software programming with current programming languages
and a strong technical background
- Must have worked with live data feeds (e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters, Dow
Jones, etc...) with C++ expertise. Typically this work involves parsing
streaming data, processing it and passing it to an API
- Strong experience as a Senior Software Programmer Analyst within the
Financial Industry
- Very familiar with software development methodologies and processes


Industry & Development Environment:

- Financial services industry, i.e., banks, mutual fund companies,
insurance companies and brokerage firms.
- Programming language is C++.
- Development projects working with live/streaming Data Services feeds.
